Sun Solutions: Rejuvenate Your Salutations!

Sun Salutations are the opening act of a Vinyasa Flow practice but can often become routine and dull.
This class breaks the mold with creative variations of Sun Salutations A and B, focusing on different yoga aspects from backbends to arm balances, and prayerful intention to loosing inhibition.

We’ll break down the basics in this master class so we can then break the rules and play with limitless options.

This workshop builds a strong foundation of strength in the mindset and physical body to break through preconceived notions of our abilities. We are gifted beyond our imagination, and this workshop will playfully support and encourage your untapped potential to dance on your hands and see the world from a different view. Drop fear and step forward with a smile on your face and love in your heart and you'll already be lighter and ready to flip it around. Great for baby birds and seasoned fliers, just come open to being challenged with the most playful of ways!

Gumby 101: Backbend Foundations + Beyond

There's a preconception that one must be hyper-mobile in order to backbend well and this workshop is here to prove that wrong.
Backbends are glorious poses when done correctly to open the heart, shoulders and idea of what is possible. This workshop breaks down the basic alignment to keep ones back happy in any backbend. We'll workshop the basics along with postures that are rarely seen in flow classes so we have a full menu to choose from when we want to dive into our hearts!

About Kathryn Budig

Kathryn Budig's appetite for yoga is infectious. She trained and taught in Los Angeles for 8 years under the guidance of Maty Ezraty and now travels the world. Kathryn's playful mixture of challenging classes with her lovable personality is the recipe for a truly inspiring class. As an avid food lover, she is also passionate about sharing healthy, organic and eco-friendly recipes.
Kathryn shares her zest for life, yoga & food as the Women's Health Magazine yoga expert along with her contributor writings for The Huffington Post, Yoga Journal, Gaiam, The Daily Love and MindBodyGreen. She’s been seen on the covers of Yoga Journal, Yoga International, Om Yoga and Common Ground. Budig has been featured on E!Entertainment, The Food Network, Forbes Women, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. She also serves as the brand representative for ToeSox and is currently sponsored by Under Armour + ZICO Coconut Water. She authored Rodale's The Women’s Health Big Book of Yoga.
Kathryn is dedicated to giving back to her community. She co-founded "Poses for Paws", an organization dedicated to raising money for animal shelters through yoga.
